Visibility’s Significance
Road visibility is very vital. It is the means of making your self obvious so as to be recognized by other riders and avoid collision. Every second counts so you must be visible to them even in a few tenths of every second in a gloomy ride.
Riders must detect you to identify and react so as to avoid a possible mishap. Good conspicuity acts to shorten reaction time. If you are not that visible the possibility is that you may end up in the hospital wing or worst in the morgue. That’s the essence of using visible motorcycle accessories and parts.
Several studies have shown that reflective markings make even trailers safer. Colors also play a crucial role. There are colors that signify danger . It means caution or stop. The combination of red and white appears to be bright and catchy to the eyes so it is commonly used to give signals.
These colors are also used in connection with retroreflective tape on helmets, jackets or vests to attract attention and to lessen the probability of being hit. I, personally am using this tape whenever I ride at nightime. Its hard to rely on second chances you know.
